HBO has announced that the highly anticipated second season of "House of the Dragon" will premiere on HBO and HBO Max on Sunday, June 16 at 9/8c. The season will consist of eight episodes, airing weekly until the finale in early August.
Behind the Scenes
Filming for Season 2 began in March 2023, with Warner Bros. Discovery streaming and gaming boss JB Perrette confirming the release date in an interview with Variety. The first season of "House of the Dragon" premiered on August 21, 2022, and was a critical and commercial success.
