Spain's National Soccer Team Unveils New Logo

A Royal Redesign

On March 23, 2021, the Real Federación Española de Fútbol (RFEF) unveiled a striking new logo for the Spain national soccer team. The redesigned emblem marks a significant departure from the traditional crest, which featured the country's coat of arms.

A Modernization of Tradition

The new logo preserves the essence of the original while embracing a contemporary aesthetic. It retains the iconic red and gold colors of Spain's flag and incorporates a stylized version of the royal crown, a symbol of the country's monarchy. However, the coat of arms has been replaced by a simplified representation of the national emblem, featuring three fleurs-de-lis and two columns.

The RFEF believes that the new logo better reflects the modern identity of the national team and its aspirations on the world stage. It is set to make its official debut during the upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures in June 2021.
