Schwarber, Turner key players to Friday's defeat

The Washington Nationals ended the Phillies' four-game winning streak with a 7-2 win on Friday. Brandon Marsh led off the bottom of the ninth inning against Nats closer Kyle Finnegan with a single.

Turner then hit a deep single off the left-field wall, scoring Marsh and moving Jean Segura to third. Schwarber was intentionally walked to load the bases, and Turner followed with a two-run single to give the Nationals the win.

Turner finished the game 3-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Schwarber was 1-for-4 with two walks and an RBI, and Segura was 2-for-4 with a run scored.

The Phillies are now 14-13 this season, while the Nationals are 12-15.
